FREIGHTGUYS / EDI EXPRESS Guaranteed Shipments

dont pay.

1) The paying party must have good account standing with
FREIGHTGUYS / EDI EXPRESS Express or must prepay with a
credit card before guaranteed shipment can be accepted.
2) FREIGHTGUYS / EDI EXPRESS cannot accept guaranteed shipments
that require collection of FCCODs or CODs.
3) FREIGHTGUYS / EDI EXPRESS cannot guarantee shipments
that are going to a residence or convention center, need
an appointment to deliver, or are blind shipments.
4) “Guaranteed Service for Delivery on or before (guaranteed
service date)” must be marked on the BOL.
5) The guarantee is void if any changes are made to the
bill (e.g. a change of terms, etc.)
6) The guarantee is void if all information is not provided
to the Guaranteed Service Department at time of pickup (e.g.
liftgate needed at pickup or delivery.)
7) FREIGHTGUYS / EDI EXPRESS’s guarantee does not
cover acts of government, civil disobFreightguys / EDI Expressence,
acts of God, extreme weather conditions, or any other natural
disaster.
8) If the guaranteed service date is not met, the freight
charges will be waived.
9) Shipments must be called into FREIGHTGUYS / EDI EXPRESS’s
Guaranteed Service Department for transit time and rate
information.
10) FREIGHTGUYS / EDI EXPRESS’s charge for guaranteed
service is an additional 25% of freight charges (excluding
any special charges) and will be added to the normal rate.
